TalkFixAI — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TalkFixAI ("TalkFixAI", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the TalkFixAI mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the TalkFixAI iOS and Android apps (bundle identifier com.talkfixai.talkfixai). It does not cover third-party services we link to or rely on, which have their own privacy policies (see Section 6).

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide voice-guided repair help, your account, subscriptions, and basic app health.

Information you provide

• Account information — when you sign in with Google, Apple, or an email link, we receive your email address, name, and a user identifier.
• Voice input (audio) — when you tap the microphone, your speech is captured and converted to text so the assistant can understand your question.
• Photos — if you share a photo of a device or problem, the image is used to generate repair guidance and (optionally) saved to your device's photo library.
• Repair content — the questions you ask and the conversation transcript of your repair sessions.

Information collected automatically

• Purchase information — your subscription status (e.g., whether TalkFixAI Pro is active), handled through the app stores and our payments provider. We never receive or store your full payment card details.
• Usage and diagnostics — basic analytics (e.g., feature usage) and crash / performance data to keep the App stable.
• Device and advertising identifiers — for users on the free (ad-supported) tier, advertising identifiers are used to serve ads.

3. How we use your information

• provide voice- and photo-based repair guidance;
• create and manage your account and sign-in;
• process and restore subscriptions and unlock Pro features;
• save your repair history so you can resume past sessions;
• show ads to users on the free tier;
• analyze usage and diagnose crashes to improve reliability; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Ads shown in the free tier are non-personalized by default.

4. How your voice and photos are processed by AI

To answer your questions, TalkFixAI may process your typed text, the text transcribed from your voice, and any photo you share using artificial intelligence:

• On-device AI — many requests are handled by an AI model that runs locally on your device, without sending your content to the internet.
• Cloud AI — some requests (for example, photo analysis, or higher-quality assistance for Pro users) are sent securely to our backend and/or to OpenAI to generate a response. Content sent for cloud processing is used only to produce your answer.

If you enable Offline mode in Settings, requests are kept on-device; photo analysis, which requires the cloud, is disabled in that mode.

5. Advertising

The free tier of TalkFixAI shows ads through Google AdMob. Ads are served as non-personalized ads, meaning they are based on general context rather than your personal profile, and the App does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt. AdMob may process device/advertising identifiers to deliver and measure ads. See Google's policies in Section 6. Pro subscribers do not see ads.

6. Third-party services we use

We share information with the following service providers strictly to operate the App. Each has its own privacy policy:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

7. Data retention

• Account and repair history are kept while your account is active.
• Audio is processed transiently to produce text and is not stored as audio.
• Diagnostics/analytics are retained for a limited period to maintain the service.

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy or as required by law.

8. Deleting your account and data

You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the App: Settings → Delete account. This deletes your account and erases your local repair history and saved conversations from the device, and revokes the App's access to your sign-in provider. This action cannot be undone.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA). You can exercise many of these directly through in-app account deletion, or by contacting us at info@aickstudio.ai. We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

10. Children's privacy

TalkFixAI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International data transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including the United States, where our service providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers where required.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated in-app.
